Hello! I’m Patrick Ryan — a Game Producer, Level Designer, Game Designer, and cross-industry Product and Project Manager with a bachelor’s degree in Game Design and Animation from Purdue University. I’m passionate about building engaging digital experiences and driving high-performing teams to execute ambitious ideas with clarity and purpose.
Games have influenced my life in meaningful ways — from bringing distant friends and I together to creating unforgettable shared memories — and I’m determined to craft experiences that have that same lasting impact on others. I love environments where cross-functional collaboration is the norm, challenges are welcomed, and learning never stops. A few fun facts: I’m an Eagle Scout with survival and outdoor skills, a lifelong Indianapolis Colts fan, and a massive sports enthusiast. I once lived in a 150+ year-old mansion through my fraternity, and the first game I ever played was Wizard 101 — followed by Halo 3: ODST as my first owned title. What I Do Game Producer I ensure quality results through structured planning, clear communication, and collaborative leadership, driving scope alignment, resource management, and milestone execution to deliver polished products and strong player satisfaction. I never settle for average work — I genuinely love empowering teams, keeping motivation high, and guiding a project from concept to release with pride and purpose. Level Designer I design levels that amplify core gameplay systems, support intuitive player navigation, and establish emotional pacing to create memorable, cohesive player experiences. For me, creating levels is about shaping a journey — building worlds that immerse players, reward curiosity, and elevate every moment-to-moment decision they make. Game Designer I prototype and refine mechanics to deepen engagement, support replayability, and sustain long-term player investment, using both player psychology and data-informed iteration. I love the experimentation and creativity of gameplay design — exploring ideas, testing them with real players, and evolving systems until they feel instinctively fun. Product / Project Manager I lead multi-disciplinary teams to align goals, prioritize features, and deliver measurable outcomes using Agile methodology, clear roadmapping, stakeholder communication, and data-driven decision-making.
