Wooden Block Projects- Built to Scale!
These are my wooden block projects that are a gradual progression of complexity starting at the bottom and ending at the top. I was challenged to make objects, in this case wooden blocks, built to a real-life scale. As time went on, the pieces became more difficult to make and had to be a part of more elaborate structures. I was able to drag vertices according to reference images to improve the scaling accuracy, use cutting tools, and place holes in meshes without having to manually sculpt one. I learned how to work with UVs as well, making the blocks appear as realistic as possible.
Graphic Design Flyers
These are some flyer designs that I have made using Adobe products for my fraternity. I made an advertised for our Philanthropy event, a few of our parties, and Mom’s Day. In each design, I covered all the essential information and presented it in an easy to understand way while maintaining a nice aesthetic.
3D Venus Flytrap Model
This was my first organic 3D model which was supposed to be a type of plant. Rather than choosing something simple and plain, I went with a Venus Flytrap to be more creative and to have a fun challenge. I learned a lot about how to rotate objects in Maya in more complex ways as well as how to reflect objects on a point. I used this so that only half of the head of the plant was necessary to be built and the other half could be attached by being reflected along the x-axis.

3D Architecture Model: Doric Pillars
The Doric Pillar project taught me how to trace a reference image and create sophisticated architecture using tricks and techniques that saves a great amount of time for a high-quality result.
Marble Madness Map Design
For this particular project, I was supposed to make a map for a "Marble Madness" game using certain tools in Maya. To demonstrate my creativity, I made the marble look like a golf ball and constructed the map to appear like a vertical miniature golf course. Each part of this course was built using a different tool.
3D Scythe Model
This is a 3D scythe that I designed spontaneously for fun! It challenged me to model specific details found in the blade and taught me how textures can be used to create a desired aesthetic.
Experience with Tools in Maya
As you can see above, I have familiarity with all of the tools used in Maya and can use them to serve a wide variety of purposes.
I am a quick learner so using tools in other software should not take long to figure out.
